Cookie Extravaganza!

This weekend we are doing our annual cookie baking extravaganza with our friends and their two kids.  You know we always go overboard with how many cookies we make! I don't know what this years total will be, but I'm hoping we finish before 10 pm this time.

Here are a few of the cookie recipes I'll be using.

Stained Glass Cookies

Peanut Butter Blossoms

Snicker Doodles

Spumoni Chuck Cookies (a must bake)

Fiesta Fudge Cookies (one of my favorite cookies of all time)

Those are some of our favorites.  What's yours??

I made sugar cookie cutouts (Christmas trees, always trees, or my father & brother will start a mutiny), molasses cookies (I usually do these or something gingerbread), shortbread bites (with red & green sprinkles mixed into the dough -- so easy & so yummy -- taste like Barnum's animal crackers!), peppermint stick cookies (the ugliest cookies ever -- it was a new recipe & I will never make them again! LOL) and the most delicious things ever: Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Sandwich No-Bake Cookies (which need to be taken away from me before I weigh a million pounds because I cannot. stop. eating them)!

Yummy!! I think all those cookies are very creative! The most I ever do is get some sugar cookies from the store! I think we may have to come over!

I love that you do this. I want a tradition like this, but we live so far away from everyone. I'm definitely going to try out the fudge cookies. They look awesome.
