Cookies!

We have a reputation with our friends for our love of making cookies. Mostly because every year at christmas we get together with another couple and make tons of cookies.

Last week a friend from church called and asked if I could make some cookies for a children's program on saturday night. I immediately started thinking about what to make.

So I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies and some lollipop cookies. I was really excited about the lollipop cookies since I have wanted to make them for a while. Here's how I did it.

I cheated and used the ready bake dough that came in squares. I rolled them into a ball and put cookie sticks in them. I got the cookie sticks at JoAnn's and cut the sticks in half since they were for kids.

I baked them at the recommended temperature and then let them cool on the racks.

After the cookies cooled, I used whipped, vanilla icing and iced the cookies. Then I added every kids favorite thing.....sprinkles

Here's the final product. I had to do some quality control and sampled one for myself. They were pretty tasty!
