Update on 2009 so far

Over the Christmas holidays, I received lots of letters and emails from friends with updates and blog addresses. When I read theirs, they are always so good about regularly posting about the ordinary events of their day.

One of my goals this year is to blog more frequently. Why? Well, it will help me keep a "journal" of what's going on with us and I really enjoy reading about what's going on with everyone else, and I'm hoping you will enjoy the same.

One of my other goals with the blog is to keep a photo journal of our week. I wish I had the web site address, but I came across the coolest web site last fall. A man had taken a polaroid photo every day and then posted it online. What a great way to document the day. I doubt I will do a daily photo, but I am going to do a photo of the week that will be something that will remind me what the week was about.

Other than making new "blog resolutions" things around our house have remained pretty calm and boring. Chris got the stomach yuck a few weeks ago and also injured his knee in the process. He's nursing it back to health with ibuprofin and ice on it at night. That frozen corn is coming in handy.

This weekend we are going to Bristol to see his parents in a play. It should be a lot of fun. I'm sure I'll have some pictures to post from that!

Well, that's enough for now. I just spilled a Diet Dr. Pepper all over the floor at work. Maybe I should start my photo journal with that? : )
